To install the package the user must run:
sudo apt-get install ‘.'[Arch Linux ‘fslint’]

To make it easy to use the package and run it from the terminal, this file
uses $EDITOR as the program that is used to display the results. To change
that setting from the default you can run:
export EDITOR=

To view the program settings, use
$EDITOR –help

After installing the program you need to edit a file. The file to edit is
called $HOME/.fslintrc

The $HOME refers to the home directory, where all user specific settings
are kept.

To use fslint, you need to create the.fslintrc file:
$EDITOR ~/.fslintrc

In the config file add the following lines:
fslint “/home/”`basename “$0″`.fslintrc file
export EDITOR=

Save the file and exit.

There are a number of programs which may be downloaded as addons to
this font. They are installed in the.fslintdir directory. For those
who have the original font, you can add other programs if you wish.Q:

How to programmatically attach a backlight to a device?

I am looking for a way to programatically attach a backlight to a device (to the back of a laptop or desktop) such that it can be turned on and off by the OS.
I can’t find any examples of how to do this. A few examples on the intertubes seem to indicate that this can be done, but all the examples I find seem to use third-party adapters to do this and don’t work for my device (Nokia N900).
Has anyone had any experience with this?

Most likely this is too low-level. The way to do this would be to install a display filter which will detect the backlight state, and respond accordingly.

A team of scientists has discovered the largest living land animal in the world and its name is Moby Rex.

The giant species of mammal was found in Borneo, and it has a weight of about 500 kilograms (1,100 pounds) and is a relative of pigs, camels and horses, according to the team of scientists that discovered it.

The animal is called Moby Rex because of its large size and heavy build.

“The species that we discovered, which we call Moby Rex, was previously unknown to science, and we were very surprised when we found it,” Hendrik Freitag, a biochemist at the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany, said in a statement. “It is the largest land animal known to science, and is 20 times heavier than the biggest living relative of a horse, the rhinoceros.”

The huge mammal has a head and body length of about 5.4 feet (1.64 meters), and a body mass of nearly 500 kilograms (1,100 pounds). It most likely weighs about six times as much as the largest flying birds on Earth.

“We have since found this species in several other habitats around the area, so we expect this is a widespread species,” Freitag said.

“The species seems to have survived during the end-Paleogene (E-P) extinction event when some animals went extinct,” Michael Knüsel, a researcher at North-West University in South Africa, said in a statement. “In that time, Africa and Southeast Asia were an open ocean. There were islands and land bridges connecting these areas that might have served as refuges and/or means of dispersal.”

It is possible that this large land animal is a descendant of the smaller land mammals that roamed Earth about 44 million years ago, when the first land animals were beginning to emerge
