This system call is used to verify the password for MySQL 5.6.2 and 5.7.2 on UNIX based systems. The system call is similar to the getpwnam(3) system call in the following sense that it takes the credentials of the given username as argument and checks that the given username is a valid user. However, MySQL uses a hard-coded shared key in the MACRO_PASSWORD system variable to check if the given username exists.

What I’m trying to do is store the information I extract from the cmd input on a file and then view that file.
I’m doing this with an Echo System Command in a subroutine and then looping the subroutine. The input from the cmd is being stored in a variable and then the variables are being passed to the subroutine.
My problem is that I’m getting a blank page, even though there is text from the cmd.
Is there anything I’m doing wrong?

A:

You are displaying a blank page because you’re redirecting standard output, which stdout is where the output is being sent to.
Change this:
Echo Your Description

To this:
Echo “Your Description”

Alternatively, you could use this to display the text in your echo call:
Write-Host “Your Description”
